Nisekoi (False Love) is a romantic comedy and slice of life manga. Now after 20+ volumes the story seems to be nearing to its end. So you won't have to wait years to see the ending. This also has an anime with 2 seasons but they have omitted some chapters from the manga. Here is a chart that describe anime and manga in more details so check that out if you want to know more.

Story

In Nisekoi main character is a high school student named Raku Ichijou. a normal reliable guy with some admirable good qualities. He is also an heir to a Yakuza group. This has caused big problems for his social life leaving him friendless. In the coming first day of the high school he's hoping on change that but things doesn't go as planed. He violently stumble into girl who is late and in the process of jumping the school fence. needless to say they get off to a bad start.  The girl's name is Chitoge Kirisaki. in Raku's eyes  she is a violent and a selfish girl.

Meanwhile, at Raku's home, there seems to be some trouble. Another gang has moved in and causing problems, and to solve this Raku's father ask Raku to date the rival gang's heiress and that girl happens to be Chitoge. So to save the two gangs they start their relationship. Their relationship is a ruse, but they have to keep appearances sake of their families, even if they aren't getting along. After a while though, their relationship transforms into a sort of friendship.

Raku however has a crush on a another girl named Onodera since his middle school days. The fake relationship he has with Chitoge get's in the way of that. despite all this three become friends making things messier than it already is. Main good thing about this manga is that it's quite humors. There's always some misunderstanding or something to liven things up. Also  all the characters have unique personalities of their own and problems and challenges comes with it. Even the easy-going character like Shuu has Issues..

Art

Art in Nisekoi is simple and clean but it's also very expressive. You can call it realistic too even with blown up reactions and expressions it keep closer to the reality. Characters are well drawn. You won’t mistake one for the other even when they are in their extreme manga like state (you know when they lose details to concentrate more on their expressions especially while in arguments). Their poses seems more natural than comical too.

nisekoi manga

I think Nisekoi is nearing to its end. Things are progressing rapidly in the last published chapters I've read. So if you want to read a long romantic-comedy manga with good story and art this is the one for you.
